It’s been another busy week in AR+VR! In addition to keeping you up-to-date on the top AR+VR news, funding activity, and launch announcements, here are there three stories you need to know: Meet Mica, Colgate wearable rollout and global XR survey results

Magic Leap wrapped up its first developer conference last week and with it came a slew of news including new content for the Magic Leap One by Wayfair, AT&T, Weta Workshop and more and the unveiling of a virtual human called Mica that blew the minds of many including Adario Strange from Next Reality.

Meanwhile, RealWear announced a major rollout of its HMT-1 smartglasses with Colgate-Palmolive which will see its wearable in use in 20 manufacturing facilities in 11 countries after successful pilot tests.

Finally, Digi-Capital and AWE published highlights from its first global XR survey including data which suggests that AR/VR startups are leaving money on the table by not branching out to markets outside their backyard.
