The 9th Annual Auggie Awards are back!

 

The annual Auggie Awards have been the most recognized industry AR & VR awards in the world since 2010. Now in its 9th year, the Auggies continue to showcase the best-of-the-best in XR (AR/VR/MR).

 

The winners of the Auggie Awards are presented with a prestigious Auggie Award on stage at the Auggie Awards Ceremony at AWE USA 2018 on May 31.

 

2018 Auggie Award Timeline

– March 5 – April 23: Nomination period *extended deadline*
– April 24 – May 17: Public voting 
– May 18 – May 25: Judging period 
– May 31: Auggie Awards presented at AWE USA 2018

How To Submit Your Nomination

Think you have what it takes to win an Auggie in one of our 10 categories? Here’s how to submit your nomination:


1. Create or sign-in to the Auggie Award Submission page by visiting auggie.awardsplatform.com


2. Select the category you would like to submit your product or project


3. Complete the fields on both tabs including:

  1. Product or Project Name
  2. Company Name
  3. Company Website
  4. Product Description (max 100 words)
  5. Cover Image (JPG, PNG)
  6. Product Video (YouTube or Vimeo)


4. Video submissions are mandatory this year for the Auggies. Here are some tips on creating the perfect video submission.

  1. Keep your video under 90 seconds
  2. Show your product or project in action
  3. Be sure to include your product or project name and company name in the video title (e.g. “Product Name” by “Company Name”)
  4. We also recommend that you include the product or project name, short description and product or project URL in the content of your video
  5. Highlight the reasons why you think your product or project should win an Auggie
  6. All video links must be public and hosted on either YouTube or Vimeo
  7. Please do not use any copyrighted music in your video without permission! Expensive lawsuits are never fun. Here are some music resources you can use when the time comes: SoundCloud, Vimeo Music Store, Free Music Archive, and ccMixter


5. Once your nomination is complete, hit the “Submit Nomination” button and it will be sent for review and approval

Auggie Awards Presented at AWE

In addition to the 10 main Auggie Award categories, AWE is pleased to present 5 additional honors which will be presented at AWE USA 2018 at the show May 31 and June 1 as indicated. 

All of these categories DO NOT require organizations to submit nominations via the Auggie Portal and do not follow the same process as the 10 categories outlined above.
